Anyway. I was trying to draw the differences between the main four characters in basic abilities. I mean, if the manga were an RPG, their stats would be these:

(Just for reference, the categories I’ve included are: HP, Attack, Defense, and Speed. Magic isn’t included since technically what they’re using is, after all, magic.)

TONY
Tony has high HP and Attack power. He has average Defense power, but is the lowest in terms of Speed.

YVETTE
Yvette is pretty much balanced with her stats. This is an attempt by her mom so Yvette would be a strong and flexible fighter. The downside is: it is training from hell.

CAIN
Cain is also balanced on most, but he excels in Speed. He’s one of the fastest fighters in Rowan. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s very accurate with his attacks, precise like an assassin.

AIMIFF
Aimiff has the lowest HP, but she compensates by having the highest Defense. She has average Speed, and an Attack power that varies (she’s not an offensive type, actually).

Yes, I was thinking about these instead of starting my final papers. I am so hardcore.

WHOA WAIT I took a second look at this and I SEE A HAND UP THERE NEXT TO YVETTE. Whaaat. Who is so boldly invading the sacred space of her personal bubble? I think I see black hair and a uniformed arm, which leads me to suspect Cain right away, but you never know… >_>

Guys are always hard to draw

I’m seriously debating whether to enter the annual Yen Press New Talent Search…

Last year they had one, and you had to send in a 32 page one shot manga. I just found out about the new one recently, and I think it would be a neat thing to do. The problem is, I’ve never actually drawn a manga before, so I don’t know how well I would fare. xD After all, drawing stand-alone pictures is different from drawing comics, which are sequential art. Not to mention I haven’t inked or toned before either…And backgrounds are the bane of my existence…UGH, so many things to think about…!

Guess I’ll just wait ‘til the rules are revealed and make a decision then. 

Also I need to get my butt moving, I always say I’m gonna do something and then never get around to it. >81

…Er. Anyways. Well, if it’s not canon by the time I die I’m going to come back from the dead, become a zombie, and threaten to eat your brains until C/Y happens. I swear it on my dark, black soul. :)

I can’t decide, I’m too nervous and excited! ;___; I’ll just list some ideas here, you can pick the one you like the best:

1.) Cain and Yvette somehow became handcuffed together! What happens? 8D (Handcuffs are made of metal that can’t be cut! Gasp!)

2.) For one of their daily duels, Cain and Yvette decide that the winner gets to force the loser to do anything he/she wants. Who wins, who loses, and what does the winner tell the loser to do?

3.) Cain exploits Yvette in a questionable way to get rid of one of his rabid fangirls.

4.) Yvette is sick with a fever at school! Cain shows his own feverish love concern by…

5.) It’s summer vacation! Cain/Yvette go to the beach and… (Totally not a fanservice prompt. Y’know. Hohoho~)

6.) Anything you can think of for C/Y that you’ve wanted to draw for a while. I suck at giving prompts so I don’t mind if you think of something new lol. xD ANYTHING C/Y WILL MAKE MY FLUTTERING SOUL HAPPY.

It’s obvious by now that I ship these two, but I dearly hope it wouldn’t influence my plans for the story. It’s probably too late now, anyway, haha.

Clearly I am unable to create a shoujo-style manga. It’s all so … bubbly. Damn shoujo bubbles.

Also the best thing about being the author and shipping two characters is that it’s *~canon~* ohohohoho.
